Diann Opremchak has been hired as Chatham’s newest dispatcher.

Opremchak comes to the Chatham Police Department with a previous dispatching experience, having worked for 15 years as a dispatcher for the Auburn Police Department.
“We are fortunate to be able to hire an individual such as Diann with so much on the job experience”, Police Chief Vernon Foli said. “She came to us very highly recommended and we are very happy to have her”.

“Diann will go through an abbreviated training process to bring her up to speed with our Department and how we do things here. I believe she is going to do an excellent job”, Foli said.

Diann was hired on 1/2/18 and will begin her training on dayshift.
